Day 1: Revolution: Read All About It

Overview: Students will read about the significance of newspapers in the American Revolution and will work with a partner to create their own newspaper about events leading up to the revolution.

Goals: Partners will create their own newspaper demonstrating an understanding of revolutionary period news, online design software, and teamwork.

Materials: Either InDesign or Microsoft Word, Newspapers from the American Revolutionary Period, Laptops, and Printers.
